The Lunch Date
Well, I had lunch with Samantha and let me tell you, it went great. We met at this little Greek restaurant. I had never been there before. It was Samantha’s choice. I wasn’t going to argue.
I got there pretty early. I didn’t want to risk being late. I’m just that type of guy. I remember when I was younger and going for job interviews, I’d always drive out to the location the day before just to make sure I knew where the place was and how long it would take me to get there. I wasn’t that cautious this time around, but cautious enough.
After about ten minutes of waiting she showed up. She looked great. She wore these low cut jean, boots and a tight shirt that stopped right above her belly button. Holy cow, I almost fell off my chair. On my last post I said that she was a bit on the chubby side, but let me tell, you, she somehow found a way to loose some weight overnight because today she looked hot. Too hot for me that’s for sure.
The conversation flowed well all through lunch. I was afraid, after last night, I wouldn’t have much left to say, but I was wrong. We made each other laugh. That’s a good sign. I think we clicked.
After lunch we said our goodbyes and she hugged me. I wasn’t expecting that. A pretty girl hadn’t hugged me since my fiancée left me. Up to that point, all female hugs had been relegated to family members. It felt good.
We’re going out Sunday night. This will be an actual date. Now I’m starting to get nervous.
