I'm in Seattle

Hey out there. My name is Randall. I just moved from Los Angeles to Seattle. I'm a vet and single. Actually, up until a few months ago I was engaged, but my fiancé broke it off. No, it wasn't because of anything juicy, like her cheating on me or me cheating on her. She was a wannabe actress who eventually landed a roll on a BBC sitcom. As a result she had to move to the United Kingdom to film. Hey, chance of a lifetime, right. I had to support her.

Initially, I wanted to try the long distance relationship thing and get married once she was done filming but she didn't want to. To tell you the truth, I don't think she actually wanted to get married. The role was just the perfect excuse at the perfect time and she used it to spring out of our relationship and out of my life. Oh, well. I think I'll eventually get over it. At least I hope.

I moved to Seattle because I had too many good memories back in Los Angeles. Too many places and too many haunts where my fiancé and I visited. Too many places we called our own. I figure it'll be easier getting over her here in Seattle. Out of sight, out of mind, right....right.

Anyway, I plan to begin dating soon and I'll do my best to post my experiences here on this blog. I think it will be therapeutic for me. I live by myself in a two-bedroom apartment. After work I don't have much to do. I don't have a television so, I guess I'll write. Know what's funny. I'm a veterinarian but I don't have any pets. Don't intend to either. I love the animals I work with, but I'm weird about having them at home. Don't like all the fur all over the place. Call me weird.
